We at Oxford Music and Folk would like to point out the following;
1, There is only one charge of 10% from We got tickets for a purchase transaction, there is absolutely no other charges when purchasing a ticket. The 10% booking fee in 100% non refundable under any circumstances from we got tickets but the ticket price is. Under certain circumstances OMF will look into the reason and will refund out of my own pocket the booking fee if warranted.
2, When acts sell merchandising at our venue, they keep 100% of the takings, we do not take a dime off the acts as this helps to supplement their income. We detest acts getting ripped off by other venues who routinely charge them 10% to 20% on all sales of their own merch. This is a blatant rip off and a pathetic and disgusting thing to do to any act.
3, If the acts ever have a guest, friend or family member who would like to attend, and would like a complimentary ticket, we give them a FREE complimentary ticket. Unlike some venues who charge face value on a ticket for a guest, our guest tickets are FREE. We are happy to continue to support live acts and by buying a ticket and a CD from the acts, you continue to support them too. Support live music, support live acts
